Payment and Registration Options
Prices of workshops vary, please see description under each workshop listing for pricing. Full payment is expected at time of registration and may be made in the follow ways:

  • check or money order: download pdf registration form; mail/drop off completed form with your check (checks payable to: BookWorks)
  • credit cards: accepted online via PayPal – click button within workshop listing; follow PayPal directions

Additional Materials/Studio Fees are collected at the first workshop. These fees cover materials supplied by instructors or BookWorks and/or cover expenses to maintain equipment used for workshop. A list of materials and tools students should bring with them is included with each workshop listing. Visit the Resources section for information on where to find materials and tools.

Workshop Confirmation
Registration will be confirmed by email or phone after full payment is received.
You will receive an email or phone call when the class has met the minimum enrollment. Please make every effort to register for a workshop at least 2 weeks in advance. Decisions about whether to cancel workshops are typically made two weeks prior to the start of workshops as a courtesy to our out-of-town guests

Please do not make travel plans until you have received confirmation that your payment has been received and that your class has met the minimum enrollment requirement. Travel plans, including lodging and local transportation, are the responsibility of each student.

Cancelation and Refund Policy
If BookWorks cancels a class for any reason, students enrolled in the class are entitled to a full refund or may transfer the full tuition to another class.

If a student needs to cancel their enrollment in a class, they may do so up to three-weeks before the class is scheduled to begin. Students can request a full refund minus a $50. administrative fee or they may transfer the full amount to any upcoming class.

Students wishing to cancel after the three-week minimum are not eligible for a refund or transfer of funds. In addition, we discourage students from transferring their enrollment in any class to someone else.

Class Size
A minimum enrollment of four (4) students is needed to confirm each workshop. Please see Cancellation Policy. The maximum number of students is ten per workshop, unless noted otherwise.

Workshop Times
Weekend/Week-Long Workshops generally meet 10:00 am – 5:00 pm, with a 1-hour lunch break. Some workshops start on Friday evenings – hours vary. Please check times noted with workshop descriptions to confirm individual workshop times.
