Perry Obee

Perry Obee has an MFA in Painting from Western Connecticut State University and a BFA in Painting and Printmaking from Ohio Wesleyan University.  His lithographs have been exhibited both regionally and nationally and are held in both private and museum collections, including The Slater Memorial Museum and the Print Club of Albany. He apprenticed for 9 years as a collaborative Printer at Milestone Graphics, the oldest fine art printmaking studio in Connecticut, where he worked with a Tamarind Master Printer. In 2016 Perry received a Regional Artist Project Grant from the North Carolina Arts Council for his work in Lithography printmaking.  He has been a part-time faculty member at the University of Connecticut, Southern Connecticut State University and currently teaches Printmaking and Drawing at Blue Ridge Community College and Western Carolina University.
