Betsy Begue


Betsy Begue
studied the art of cartonnage in France from 2002 to 2007. A graduate of Hollanders School of Book and Paper Arts, she has updated her art by fusing French techniques with book binding skills. She creates custom boxes and teaches cartonnage at her home in North Canton, Ohio, and has taught workshops at the Morgan Conservatory in Cleveland, Hollanders, the State Library of Michigan, the Guild of Book Workers California Chapter and Book Arts L.A. Her box structures were recently exhibited at the University of Michigan Taubman Center in Ann Arbor.
