Chris Davenport
Chris earned his MFA in Book Arts from the University of Alabama where he is currently a Ph. D. candidate in Interdisciplinary Art and Ecology and will be leading courses in Documentary Photography, Image and Identity, and Environmental Justice.

Chris uses film, photography, and the artist book as documents of ecology to visualize conservation concerns. His photographs, artist books, films, and research has been presented at national and international conferences held, among others, at Yale University, The University of Utah, The University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee, and The University of Alabama. His work is public and private collections in Europe and North and South America, including Yale University, Wesleyan University (CT) and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Chris has taught at The Penland School of Crafts, Robert C. Williams Museum of Paper Making (Atlanta), The University of Alabama in Birmingham, and is a Alabama Arts Council Arts in Education Resident. His Pocket Knife Press books are represented by Vamp and Tramp Booksellers.
